Kombucha

Recipe courtesy of my friend Kyle

5 bags of Green Tea (you can use any tea of your choice)
500ml Hot water
5 tbsp Sugar

Method

  1. In a large jar, prep 5 tea bags.
  2. Add in hot water and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolved.
  3. Let it cool down overnight.
  4. Sieve the cooled tea into the preserving jar with scoby.
  5. Cover lid with kitchen towel (or tea towel/muslin towel) and rubberband.
  6. Let it ferment for at least 2 weeks.
  7. Sieve into a glass bottle and keep in fridge. Enjoy it cold!
